Pennsylvania forecasts that during the next few years, its fastest-growing occupation will be computer analysts/engineers/scientists, which will see an overwhelming 88% growth through 2008. The entire computing industry is experience a boom in Pennsylvania, with, for example, computer programmers anticipating a 23% growth.
Some of this staggering growth might be attributed to an extensive number of technological organizations spanning the state, all working to create new jobs and keep Pennsylvania at the forefront of the technological revolution. Groups such as Ben Franklin Technology Partners have created thousands of new positions in the field over the last several years.
