According to Kansas Labor Market Information, jobs for computer professionals will be plentiful through 2012. Network and computer systems administrators are expected to see the most growth, with a predicted increase of 27%. Major growth is also forecasted for computer science engineers of applications, communication systems analysts, and computer support specialists, all slated for more than 20% gains.
New graduates might find employment and internship opportunities with some of the area's largest employers, including Boeing Corporation, Cessna Aircraft Company, Via Christi Health System, Bombardier Aerospace, and Koch Industries.
